NEW PRE-FALL COLLECTION
MAY 16, 2013
Elements of British punk revisited in a romantic atmosphere.
Scottish grays and colored checks, laser-cut pied-de-poule, padded Prince of Wales.
Herringbone wool, patchwork-processed English-boy pinstripe flannel matched with neoprene.
Diamond, argyle and lozenge patterns are the leitmotiv of the collection.
Lozenge and flower prints, argyle pressed on neoprene or light technical fabric, inlaid diamond patchwork in prints and multi-colored jacquard for knitwear.
A typical English lawn in bloom is broken, fractured and scratched to give life to the season’s printed fabric.
And then ... the broken flower turns into a line and checks.
Spotted patterns are dominant in the collection: pure punk melody! Printed on silk ottoman and technical wool; printed on kidskin and finally on crepe silk and mixed with graphic or floral printed fabric.
Rose and lace stencils with a stucco effect are printed on crepe de Chine and brocade.
Giant zippers break up the geometries of outerwear of torn bouclé yarn or men’s laminated fabrics. Capes paired with vests of jacquard fabrics.
Sweatshirts are hand-drawn by aerograph with original macramé floral designs.
Blue and orange, green and burgundy are the colors. A touch of fuchsia and pink. Then, black & white in optical prints, waves and cowhide "effect".BACK
